decided to take up refereeing!"
After much deliberation, council has decided that this entry from Ken
Boyd is a worthy winner. Congratulations Ken.

Marathon Men
With
a massive 11000 runners taking part, George (below, on the left)
representing Portobello Running Club, finished in an excellent 121st
place with a time of 3hrs 3 min 43 secs, whilst Crawford (right), in
his first marathon, completed the course in 3 hrs 29 min 57 secs for an
excellent finish place of 539th. Well done guys on a great effort.
Crawford also raised almost
£3000 for Cancer Research UK and he would like to thank
everyone who sponsored him.
